Seth Rogen has emerged as a prominent figure in a new generation of multihyphenates, as an actor, writer, producer and director with the ability to generate his own material.

In 2011, Rogen, along with lifelong friend and writing partner, Evan Goldberg, founded Point Grey Pictures, the production company behind such movies as Sausage Party, The Interview, Neighbors, This Is the End and 50/50.

Most recently, Rogen produced and voiced the character of Frank in the R-rated animated feature, Sausage Party, a raunchy animated movie for adults about one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. The film has surpassed $100 million worldwide at the box office.

In the television space, Rogen and Goldberg’s Preacher, based on the popular graphic novel series by Garth Ennis, is in production for its second season for AMC and will premiere in June. Point Grey is also in production on the first season of Future Man, a new half hour comedy series for Hulu starring Josh Hutcherson.

Last year, Rogen starred in and produced Neighbors 2, the sequel to Neighbors, the worldwide hit comedy co-starring Zac Efron and Rose Byrne.  The original film has taken in more than $268 million worldwide.

Rogen made his co-directorial debut with Evan Goldberg in Sony Pictures’ apocalyptic comedy, This Is the End. The film starred Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Jonah Hill. The movie grossed more than $100 million worldwide and was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Comedy.

Rogen currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lauren, and dog, Zelda.
